The concept »Tales made of Light« combines two seemingly contradictory places of storytelling – drawing and stage – to a new medium: Projection Theatre.

Intermediator between this two levels is an apparently antiquated technique: the overhead projector. It enables real-time designed drawings to get into dialogue with text, music and acting. The drawer turns into a player who leaves his studio's isolation to confront the audience – and drawing turns into his performer, animated stage design and visual musical instrument.

Without any digital image processing pictures of light emerge, interfere with each other, turn into compositions and vanish. Moments of inspiration that, like acting, music and dance, are essentially immediate and unique.
